Terms of Service
These terms cover two things: using this website, and commissioning finishing work from inflpanjlott.com. They are written for a real commercial relationship between two companies, not for a consumer transaction, because that is what this business is. Where a term seems blunt, it is usually because the alternative is a paragraph nobody reads and everybody relies on later.
1. About these terms
inflpanjlott.com, located at , provides industrial surface finishing services: grinding, lapping, electropolishing, passivation, abrasive blasting, powder coating, hard chrome plating and mass finishing. These terms apply to the use of this website and to work commissioned through it, by email, or by telephone. Placing a work order with us means you accept them.
2. Quotes and estimates
Figures on this website are working ranges published so you can judge whether we are in the right ballpark. They are not offers. A firm price comes from a written quote, which depends on the material, the size, the current condition of the part, the quantity and the tolerance.
Where a customer supplies a drawing that turns out to be incomplete or inaccurate, we may revise the quote. We will tell you before we start, not after. Where a quote depends on an assumption we made about your part, that assumption is written on the quote, and it becomes your responsibility to correct it if it is wrong.
3. First articles and approval
Where a job requires custom fixturing, inflpanjlott.com finishes a first article for approval before the batch runs. Work is considered approved when you confirm it in writing, or after a reasonable period in which you raise no objection. Once a batch has been released into production, changes of this kind are not possible without re-tooling, and re-tooling costs are quoted separately.
4. Customer obligations
- Parts should arrive clean enough to inspect, and free of any coating or contamination that has to be chemically removed at your cost.
- Any drawing or specification we finish to is the one you supply. We are not responsible for a part being right for a purpose when the drawing said nothing about that purpose.
- You must tell us if the part will be used in food contact, medical, aerospace or any regulated context, because that changes the process and the documentation.
- Tolerances tighter than our standard range, and finishes that depend on the incoming stock condition, are quoted as special work and confirmed in writing.
5. Measurement reports
Every lot ships with a report identifying the readings taken, where they were taken on the part, the process parameters used and the operator responsible. The report reflects what was measured on a sampling basis, and it is the contractual record of the work.
Reports are issued for the lot as it left our building. They do not cover what happens to the surface afterwards, and they do not cover damage caused by handling, storage, assembly or service after delivery. If your quality system requires a third-party laboratory test, that is arranged separately and quoted separately; inflpanjlott.com does not issue certificates for tests it did not perform.
6. Delivery, packing and title
Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith and reflect the route actually booked. Scheduled routes run on a repeating schedule across the United States; overnight carriage is available for rush lots at an additional cost.
Parts are packed for carriage, not for shelf storage. Title and risk pass to you on delivery to the address named in the order. Please inspect on arrival and report any transit damage within five working days, because claims become very difficult after the packaging has been thrown away.
7. Payment
Custom finishing work is invoiced on completion, with a 30-day payment term unless the order says otherwise. Fixture and tooling costs are invoiced separately and are payable before the batch is scheduled, since that money has already been spent by the time you see the work. Rush work carries a rush charge, agreed before the job starts rather than added afterwards.
8. Limits of responsibility
Our responsibility is limited to re-finishing or reworking a part that falls outside the agreed specification. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost production, recall costs or the cost of removing a finished part from an assembly. Where the value of a part is high relative to the finishing value, ask us to see the job in writing so the arrangement is recorded rather than assumed.
9. Intellectual property and confidentiality
Drawings, models and specifications you send remain yours. inflpanjlott.com uses them only to quote and to perform the work. We do not publish your parts, drawings or name in a case study without written permission, and case studies on this website appear only with that permission granted.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which inflpanjlott.com operates. If something goes wrong, we would rather hear it from you directly: call the job number, explain what failed, and let us resolve it. If a dispute still cannot be settled between us, it goes to the courts of that state, and both sides accept that as the proper place to argue it.
11. Website use
The content on this site is provided for information. Prices shown are ranges, tolerances are typical, and case studies describe past work rather than an offer of identical results on a different part. Nothing on this site is a contractual commitment until it appears in a written quote or order acknowledgement.
12. Changes
We may revise these terms for future work. The version in force is the one that existed when your order was placed, so changing the page does not change a contract you have already made with us.
